The popularity of flip-flops has remained high for dozens of years. This type of shoes was invented in ancient Egypt and patented (under different names) in many countries all over the world. One of the oldest brands producing flip-flops is called Havaianas. The company was founded in Brazil and this year it celebrates its 80th birthday. That is why a funny action took place in many big cities of Europe - hundreds of these funny summer shoes were “planted” on the lawns in the middle of european megapolices.
