An Italian designer Giambattista Valli debuted at Paris Fashion Week with his Haute Couture Collection of nice feminine clothes and shoes. Since it’s the designer’s first Haute Couture collection we can congratulate him on a successful show.
Giambattista Valli Haute Couture lineup includes both cocktail dresses with substantial décor and gorgeous evening attire. The couturier made black, white and red the main colors of the collection. There you can find ready-to-wear wedding dresses, black mantles à la a Sicilian widow, sexy feet-length leopard dresses and passion-colored evening dresses.
Let’s pay attention to footwear Giambattista Valli offers to finish the image of the new woman. The designer chooses a zero-risk variant in order not to outshine splendid fabric trimming and not to distract public attention from the graceful dresses.
Giambattista Valli created a neat lineup of pump shoes that in spite of their classic shape look cool here. Moreover, he embellished his shoes with magnificent décor elements that are similar to that used for dresses and jackets.
The top of the shoes is adorned with pearls, corals and tiny flowers. Another shoe design unveiled by Giambattista Valli at the fashion show was open sandals with thin satin straps.

Classic pumps are extremely popular this summer. You could hardly imagine it last summer that the year will pass and all the boring and “office” footwear will become the hottest trend of the season. So if you want to march in step with fashion, put on classic red shoes.
Red shoes are considered to be one of the main tendencies in shoe fashion for summer 2011. Great colors for the pumps are not only red, but also crimson and coral red. They look amazingly cool, sexy and feminine.
Let’s have a look at red shoes offered by the leading shoe designers:
Brian Atwood offers high-heeled red pumps with smooth lines, a hidden platform and ornamental mesh elements. Burak Uyan red shoes are made from different leather types and feature straight heels and peep toes.
Isabel Marant launches textile red pumps for wearing on a cold day while Vionnet red shoes are made of crimson satin and feature eye-catching white heels. Trussardi 1911 replaced classic heels with a high wedge, which look rather provoking.
Nicholas Kirkwood and Sergio Rossi red shoes attract attention by their neat shapes, which is typical of both brands. The same is true about Viktor & Rolf whose red pumps are made from “aged” patent leather to look attractive and extravagant.

Jean Paul Gaultier accessory collection for Spring-Summer 2011 is inspired by rock-n-roll music and includes rather unusual shoe models. For instance, there’re striking shoes with twin stiletto heels that can be considered a trademark of the famous French fashion brand. The feature was once spotted in Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2010 collection.
Jean Paul Gaultier gives a treat to its admirers with its unpredictable style combined with classic French spirit. In general the new collection is rather strict with black being the prevailing color. At the same time, the main trend of the season is the strive towards innovative shapes and colors.
Jean Paul Gaultier is also in, which is proven by the twin stiletto heels that are seen on its several shoe models. The stiletto heels are connected with a fastening bridge at the base. The shoes with twin stiletto heels are made from varnished leather and come in four colors, namely white, black, red and silver.
The shoes look like classic pumps by their shape. In some models, the classic shape is enlivened with single and double straps fastened on shins. Such décor elements add spice to the image of a modern woman. It is the token of the Jean Paul Gaultier style – refined, feminine, sexy and zestful.
