This summer the French fashion house Christian Dior allows their admirers to come closer to the world of high fashion, namely to the world of Haute Couture shoes. The delightful Dior shoes that were first launched in frames of Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2010 collection will appear in boutiques now. Nobody can tell why they decided to do so, but you obviously shouldn’t miss such a great opportunity.
The four Haute Couture high-heeled sandals look as if taken from a fairy tale; they come in raspberry pink, red, black and golden color variants. The first three models are made from suede while the fourth one is made from thin leather. Every detail of these sandals deserves paying attention to; either it is an ornate heel comprised of interwoven stems, or a strap neatly stitched at the edges.
These refined Haute Couture sandals excellently suit an image of a flower girl used by Christian Dior from the early history of Dior fashion house. The colors for the Haute Couture Fall 2010 collection are inspired by the works of Irving Penn who takes macro photos of flowers and buds.
The colors include yellow, pink, orange, purple, lemon and blue shades that are not typical of fading fall, but reflect summertime riot of colors and shapes in the best way. John Galliano, the creator of these Haute Couture sandals, was also inspired by interwoven rose stems.
It goes without saying that each pair of the sandals was made by hand.

I remember the time when it was in fashion to wear transparent footwear. Lots of people appreciated it as firstly, such shoes can be combined with any clothes and handbags, secondly, they make the legs look longer and, thirdly, they create a striking illusion of wearing no footwear at all!
Such fashionable illusions can be found in the new model from Chloe shoe collection. It features a completely transparent surface and moreover, its heels are transparent as well, so that a girl wearing such shoes seems to hover above the ground rather than make steps.
The new Chloe shoe model is made of transparent acetate with black suede toes. In addition, there’s a black part on an ankle strap, but that’s all. All the other shoe elements are not colored, they are transparent.
The shoes are equipped with a wide and steady heel measuring 4 inches in height and tiny buckle to fix them on your feet. As far as you can see, the construction is quite standard.
The transparent Chloe shoe model can obtain color if worn with colored stockings and pantyhose. Isn’t it a great idea? In conclusion it should be said that the price tag for the shoes is $ 695.

Classic pumps are extremely popular this summer. You could hardly imagine it last summer that the year will pass and all the boring and “office” footwear will become the hottest trend of the season. So if you want to march in step with fashion, put on classic red shoes.
Red shoes are considered to be one of the main tendencies in shoe fashion for summer 2011. Great colors for the pumps are not only red, but also crimson and coral red. They look amazingly cool, sexy and feminine.
Let’s have a look at red shoes offered by the leading shoe designers:
Brian Atwood offers high-heeled red pumps with smooth lines, a hidden platform and ornamental mesh elements. Burak Uyan red shoes are made from different leather types and feature straight heels and peep toes.
Isabel Marant launches textile red pumps for wearing on a cold day while Vionnet red shoes are made of crimson satin and feature eye-catching white heels. Trussardi 1911 replaced classic heels with a high wedge, which look rather provoking.
Nicholas Kirkwood and Sergio Rossi red shoes attract attention by their neat shapes, which is typical of both brands. The same is true about Viktor & Rolf whose red pumps are made from “aged” patent leather to look attractive and extravagant.
