Although this year can’t be called successful for John Galliano, he still continues his creative work and launches new footwear collections in frames of the John Galliano brand.
Let’s pay attention to the new women shoe Fall-Winter 2011/12 collection of the scandalous John Galliano and have a close look at it.
The main theme of the new collection is femininity. John Galliano doesn’t include any shoes with either a solid platform or low heels into it. The designer offers only extremely high stiletto heels, the height being the same amazing during the whole season. At the same time, all the new shoe models feature steady and comfortable stiletto heels, no matter how high they are.
Another interesting detail of John Galliano new stiletto heels is their color palette. Of course, the designer couldn’t do without classic black shoes, but other models features gentle colors and pastel shades that are smoky and extremely feminine.
So while stiletto heels symbolize aggressive mood, sexuality and energy, the colors moderate this “attack” and create the necessary effect, that of femininity and gentleness. So, John Galliano has once again creatively shown how girls and women can reveal their sexual femininity through stiletto heels.

An Italian designer Giambattista Valli debuted at Paris Fashion Week with his Haute Couture Collection of nice feminine clothes and shoes. Since it’s the designer’s first Haute Couture collection we can congratulate him on a successful show.
Giambattista Valli Haute Couture lineup includes both cocktail dresses with substantial décor and gorgeous evening attire. The couturier made black, white and red the main colors of the collection. There you can find ready-to-wear wedding dresses, black mantles à la a Sicilian widow, sexy feet-length leopard dresses and passion-colored evening dresses.
Let’s pay attention to footwear Giambattista Valli offers to finish the image of the new woman. The designer chooses a zero-risk variant in order not to outshine splendid fabric trimming and not to distract public attention from the graceful dresses.
Giambattista Valli created a neat lineup of pump shoes that in spite of their classic shape look cool here. Moreover, he embellished his shoes with magnificent décor elements that are similar to that used for dresses and jackets.
The top of the shoes is adorned with pearls, corals and tiny flowers. Another shoe design unveiled by Giambattista Valli at the fashion show was open sandals with thin satin straps.

The new Haute Couture collection from Jean Paul Gaultier is inspired by ballet art. Now the famous fashion house launches the right footwear to match their pompous skirts embellished with feathers and fur. Here are the new Jean Paul Gailtier pointes on an unsteady wedge.
Jean Paul Gailtier brand breathes a new life into classic ballet shoes with its Fall 2011 Haute Couture collection. The designers left the shape of the classic pointes unchanged but equipped the shoes with a solid sole. There’re also edging elements, tiny bows and satin ribbons that can be tied around feet and ankles, which creates the image of the real ballet shoes.
Since pointes are designed for dancing on the tiptoes, Jean Paul Gaultier includes a graceful and an almost invisible wedge into the shoe construction. As a result, your heels hover in the air without any foothold as if you were a ballet dancer.
Still, it is not Jean Paul Gaultier who invented such a shoe construction. You can find similar models in the United Nude shoe collections and even more sticking models are created by a London shoe-maker Natacha Marro. However dangerous the shoes may seem there will always be somebody who would appreciate their unusual looks. For instance, Daphne Guinness simply adores such “crazy” footwear.
Jean Paul Gaultier mixes male and female outfits in its Haute Couture 2011 collection and arrays men in evening Haute Couture garments. The designer didn’t make experiments with men’s heeled shoes; he just combined thin dresses and transparent trousers with brutal boots.
