This summer the French fashion house Christian Dior allows their admirers to come closer to the world of high fashion, namely to the world of Haute Couture shoes. The delightful Dior shoes that were first launched in frames of Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2010 collection will appear in boutiques now. Nobody can tell why they decided to do so, but you obviously shouldn’t miss such a great opportunity.
The four Haute Couture high-heeled sandals look as if taken from a fairy tale; they come in raspberry pink, red, black and golden color variants. The first three models are made from suede while the fourth one is made from thin leather. Every detail of these sandals deserves paying attention to; either it is an ornate heel comprised of interwoven stems, or a strap neatly stitched at the edges.
These refined Haute Couture sandals excellently suit an image of a flower girl used by Christian Dior from the early history of Dior fashion house. The colors for the Haute Couture Fall 2010 collection are inspired by the works of Irving Penn who takes macro photos of flowers and buds.
The colors include yellow, pink, orange, purple, lemon and blue shades that are not typical of fading fall, but reflect summertime riot of colors and shapes in the best way. John Galliano, the creator of these Haute Couture sandals, was also inspired by interwoven rose stems.
It goes without saying that each pair of the sandals was made by hand.

The leaders of Dior Fashion House have finally decided on a candidature for the post of their creative designer. It became an Italian designer Ricardo Tisci who is at the head of the Givenchy Fashion house now. Earlier this post was occupied by John Galliano who has been recently dismissed from the job for his anti-Semite statements.
Dior decided to give up cooperation with Galliano due to his scandalous behavior at a café in a Jewish area of Paris where he got involved into a squabble with the locals. He was arrested for speaking rude language to other visitors.
Perhaps, if it were just a drunkard’s freak, Dior would turn a blind eye to the incident. John Galliano is a famous designer and he’s been working for Dior for 15 years already, but the anti-Semite offence forced the company to take a decision. You know, you take on a criminal liability for such words, and, moreover, the community expressed their indignation at the fact.
Riccardo Tisci is only 35 years old; he is young and full of strength and creativity. The experts consider him one of the most perspective fashion designers of nowadays. Tisci was born in Italy, studied in London and received recognition for his work in France. He became a head of a dying Givenchy Fashion House and managed to breathe a second life into it.
Meanwhile, John Galliano awaits the trial in France. Now, the great couturier spends his time in a rehabilitation centre in the US, state Arizona.
